# Tools

> The tools of the AppGoat MCP server, what they do and what they cost.

Tool inputs are generated from the same OpenAPI document as the [API reference](https://docs.appgoat.ai/api-reference/introduction.md); each tool links to the endpoint behind it. Results are compact markdown with a footer showing the credits used and left; pass `format: "json"` to get the raw `{ data, meta }` response.
